From my series Analogue Pleasures, inspired by instruments and equipment I worked with for years as a musician and producer. Especially now, in the digital age, these tools are experiencing a renaissance with their often unpredictable quirks, spreading a unique charm. They are frequently valued as sources of creative inspiration for their unique sound and warmth, which are difficult to replicate through digital means. As part of pop culture, they take on new life here as pop art motifs – in a new dimension. With hand-pulled silkscreen applications in pink and mint, they form a striking contrast against the black canvas. Framed in a black shadow gap frame, the artwork gains depth and dynamism upon closer inspection.4
